WHAT IS YOUR STORY?
"We get taken to places we have never been because people who dare to tell the stories. Im committed to doing just that. I really am. First telling my story, then telling the story of others." Trevor Clarke- http://fujonmedia.com
Finishing Well!
The story will continue with the passing of the baton in the form of a video training module. It will serve to be a resource for training future staff in the years to come. This final project will be a professionally made video by Trevor Clarke (see his website above for more info), who has volunteered of his time and resources to make videos for ALC in the past. He has committed to seeing this through because he believes in the vision for passing the story on. If interested in viewing the ALC promotional video that he put together a few years ago, you can view it here: https://vimeo.com/177419361 The password is: alc
What will this Require?
I am asking you to prayerfully consider donating a gift toward this project. My heart is to give back to a man who has poured into this ministry. Trevor is unaware of this initiative therefore I haven't asked him anything of what the operating costs would be for him to do this. I only wish to give him a small stipend for the 3 days of onsite work that it would require to record the script, film the various shots, and edit / piece together for the final product. The script is being finalized as I speak. The next step is recording the audio for the script, followed by filming. All recordings will be done prior to my June departure with editing and finalizing touches finished before September staff training.
I want to donate! How does this work?
Due to my soon departure, a Shepherd's Staff representative communicated that they are unable to set up a separate account for donations specifically designated for this project. What this means is that all donation whether for me personally r for the project will go into the same account. Therefore, I would ask, that if you desire to donate to this project, that you send me an email stating the amount of donation for the video training module so that I can track that amount separate from my personal donations. Donations can be sent by check or done online. That information below. Shepherd's Staff Missions Facilitators

Departure Time
My last day will be June 21, 2019, but I plan to stay an additional two weeks to wind down and visit with the many that I have grown to love and appreciate. During that time I will attend a wedding for the daughter of a family I've built a close relationship with over the years. Exact arrival date in Denver is yet to be determined but will be likely the second week in July.
What is NEXT?
There are many unknowns as to my transition back into the states. What IS known, is that the Lord has promised that he has a plan and a purpose for my life, and that it is for good, not for harm; and that I have a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11. I will go back to Denver for now. Thank you in advance for praying with me for the future. During this transition, there will be some financial need such as purchasing a car for moving around and contributing to living expenses while I am in search for what is next. If you are willing to continue supporting in a financial way, Shepherd's Staff, my missions facilitator, WILL continue to receive donations on my behalf through September 30, 2019. Thanks again for your prayerful consideration in helping in this transition.
Now a quick recap of
March-April 2019
Adventure Learning Centre & Camp celebrated 25 years of ministry back in September 2018 but the celebrations have extended into the new year.Part of that celebration included a visit from the founders of ALC &C. In April, we welcomed Randy and Kim Grebe along with their parents, siblings and their spouses. After a breakfast and tour through the properties, some of the staff and guests were invited to visit the Governor General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Her excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling is representative of the Queen.
March and April were very busy with school programs
And Adventure Club;
community puppets shows and outreach;
Celebrating with friends being baptized- Kenny(one of my co-workers) and Michelle, a friend from church;
and Easter Fun Day,
where the death and resurrection of Jesus was highlighted in the train ride and Planetarium show.
followed by a trip to the Bone fish ponds, and ended with a hike through the Primeval forest!
Eventually I will be doing a lot of these kinds of pictures. Saying goodbye to people is not gonna be an easy thing. This family(one family member not pictured) served full time on the island for many years but has within the past year been called back to the states. Tim and Felicia Ryan have a heart for the residents at the "All Saints Camp", a camp for the poor and the needy. They continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus on short term missions trips now.
Continue to Pray with me for:
- The ALC &C- that the gospel would continue to be proclaimed boldly as Paul the apostle proclaimed "I am not ashamed of the gospel"
- For Kenneth Romer, our Executive Director and the leadership board of directors- for wisdom, understanding, discerning ears and for God honoring decisions.
- Video Training Module Project-For completion of script and for coordination of schedules to get the recording and filming done before June 21st.
- Myself- That I would seize every moment left and love hard and well in my remaining time here.
- My Future- For the Lord's leading to the right place that He has planned for me.
Thanks again for your faithful support financially and in prayer! I shall send another update before I leave. So until then, blessings to you
Together for Christ,
Jen
